The Prime Minister met with the Aga Khan, where they discussed the cooperation between the Government and the Aga Khan Development Network. The Queen personally honoured the Aga Khan with a private banquet at Buckingham Palace on Monday to mark his golden jubilee as the leader of the world's 15 million Ismaeli Muslims. H. He was cited for “outstanding contributions to the elimination of global poverty, the advancement of women, the promotion of Islamic culture and the furthering of pluralistic values in society”.

The renowned racehorse breeder and spiritual leader of the world's Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims received an honorary doctorate from the Chancellor of the NUI, Dr Garret FitzGerald. The Aga Khan, who part owns some of Europe's leading stud farms, is the first member of the Islamic community to be honoured in the history of NUI.

Prince Amyn arrived in Nairobi yesterday but went to Kigali today. He did not attend the Games in Nairobi. The launching of the Games ceremony was grandiose but the closing was not as powerful. A small fireworks ended the Ceremony. Of course tons of photos uploaded every day...

Prince Amyn arrived in Nairobi yesterday but went to Kigali today. He did not attend the Games in Nairobi. The launching of the Games ceremony was grandiose but the closing was not as powerful. He will visit National Memorial at Savar and attend a state banquet at Hotel Sonargaon today. He will also host diplomatic reception and Imamat banquet at the same venue tomorrow. Prince Aga Khan will lay the foundation of the Aga Khan Academy at Basundhara tomorrow and the permanent Jamatkhana of the community on May 21.
