Nav Chuga - 6. Choogo Chhattho

Aashaajee Paakee naaree je paak-j raheve
jenu paak poorush sun kaam-jee,
Naaree veenyaa Nar nahi aave
na saare jeevoo naa kaam................Haree anant....1

Oh Lord The ripened(matured) woman is the one who remains pure
always
and her concern is only with the Perfect Gentleman
Without the wife the Husband will not come
and will not purify the work of the souls
Haree You are eternal...

Aashaajee Naaree veenyaa Nar nahee aavshe
nahee aave apñne gher-jee,
Paakee naaree to Nar-ne laavyaa
satee nee e chhe per....................Haree anant....2

Oh Lord Without the (devoted)wife the Husband will not come
and will not come to Your homes
The ripened(matured) wife has brought the Husband
this is the sign of a saintly woman
Haree You are eternal...

Aashaajee Naaree-e poorush puro sreveeyo
trañn bhavan no naath-jee,
Toye purakh tame sachaa Swaamee
te chhe ati koddaamañno.................Haree anant....3

Oh Lord The wife served the Husband completely and devotedly
the one who is the Master of the three worlds
Even then You are the true Lord
and you are the good-looking Lord
Haree You are eternal...

Aashaajee Eh hee purush atee rupe ralleeyaa-mñno
jenee naareeyun laakho laakh jee,
Paakee naaree je Nar nee thaayshe
te purakh ne laave neervaañn............Haree anant....4

Oh Lord This gentleman(the Imam) is the best looking Lord
and He has hundreds of thousands of wives
The ones who remain ripened(matured) wives of the
Husband
will certainly bring the Lord home
Haree You are eternal...

Aashaajee Paakee naaree te sateeyun ne kaheeye
je kare kaaya nee vaar-jee,
Kaayaa to te saaf-j kar she
jeñne keedhee sevaa apaar...............Haree anant....5

Oh Lord The ripened(matured) wife is the one who is always
truthful
and she does look after her material body
The one who will have indeed purified her body
is she who will serve(the Imam) abundantly
Haree You are eternal...

Aashaajee Sevaa karee jeñne mevaa paayaa
ane khaadhaa heerakhe saar-jee,
Haidde abhaav neha-j paddeeyaa
to thai lodhaa nee bheet-j saar.........Haree anant....6

Oh Lord The one who having served (the Imam) had attained the
fruits thereof
and consumed them with perfect happiness
But when a minute sense of self-love entered the heart
then an 'iron wall' was erected immediately
Haree You are eternal...

Aashaajee Taare naaree Nar sun veenve
vaat kare chhe sambhaar-jee,
Chh maas lagañn naaree-ye dwaag-j bhogavyaa
toye Nar na malyaa lagaar...............Haree anant....7

Oh Lord Then the wife began to plead to the Husband
and she pleaded about not being looked after
For a period of six months the wife underwent the status
of an unmarried(without spiritual vision) woman
even then she did not get the Husband immediately
Haree You are eternal...

Aashaajee Eñne naaree ne Nar nahee malyo
toye heerakh haidde apaar-jee,
Taare purakhe keedho maan chaavaañno
naaree nee keedhee saar.................Haree anant....8

Oh Lord That wife did not regain her Husband
inspite of that she maintained her love for the Husband
in an unlimited manner
It was then that the perfect entity became the
maintainer of honour
and He perfected the wife(fulfilled her wishes)
Haree You are eternal...

Aashaajee Purakh ko neh naaree lai rahee
haidde te heerakh apaar-jee,
Eñne sanjoge Peer Sadardeen kahyaa
Swaamee karo hamaaree saar..............Haree anant....9

Oh Lord The wife remained in constant love of the perfect entity
and achieved unlimited happiness in her heart
Under those circumstances Pir Sadardin spoke
Oh Lord perfect our lives
Haree You are eternal...

Aashaajee Ham naaree hak Shaah kee kaheeyen
sohee kare hamaaree saar-jee,
Naaree thai Peer Hassan Kabeerdeen veenve
tame varo Nar sujaañn...................Haree anant...10

Oh Lord I regard myself as the wife of the true Lord
the one who does my ultimate good
Being the wife, Pir Hassan Kabirdin pleads
You protect us, Oh Husband(the Lord) the Knower of
everything
Haree You are eternal...
