Atten: Swedish Ismaili Entrepreneur / Professional in Finance

I am an entrepreneur from Pakistan, Founder / President of a multifarious food processing complex. I had business an opportunity for a Swedish Ismaili entrepreneur. High returns with minor investment. Even able to discuss this opportunity with Swedish Ismaili professional in finance / management without involvement of any sort of investment. This is I am doing to promote - GEO (Global Emerging Opportunities) and converting frontier-less brotherhood concept into foundation. As instructed by MHI “You are one brotherhood. Forget the frontiers and come together to create partnerships, associations, whatever form is necessary. But help yourselves to take advantage of these new opportunities.” Tanzania August-2007 and “Come together, come together in a way where you can support each other and enhance your capacities.” USA April-2008

Jamat Khana venue in STOCKHOLM

Ya Ali Madad,

As MajiMukhi of Stockholm Jamat (served between 1983-1989
during which MajiMukhi Abde Ibrahim served in 1985 due to
a family tragedy during my tenure), I take the liberty to
post following information:

The present person to contact in Stockholm is
Mr. Hayatulla Morady, who is the current
EJC Chairman in Sweden.
Tel. + 46 73 5124734
He speaks Farsi, Swedish and English, as far as I know
and is a very warm-hearted person and a devoted sevadari.

Sadly the information given about Stockholm more often is
totally outdated and/or untrue and incorrect.

However,
to get there, you can take the Pendeltag (Commuter train) to Märsta
Station and take bus 575 towards, say WILLYS. You need to get off
at the 2nd bus stop.
The bus Stop is near the SUPERMARKET (MALL) called "WILLYS".
If you ask the bus-driver, he/she will tell you when to get off.

Get off the bus, walk in the same direction as the bus. When you get
to the T, continue to walk to the right uphill and follow the
curve to the left and you will walk into Sockholm Road.

Continue for about 100 yards after passing a shop with a sign
"RAMÄFFÄR" to your right.
The JK is in the second building block that begins on
your left. The entrance is near the KIOSK selling soda etc.,
i.e. between the end of the building and the KIOSK.
I hope you got it right, and I succeeded in directing you.

It seems that even those in the Administration at Aig-le-Mont have
failed to update the info, since I informed the secretariat in 2007 that
the info is long outdated, in their records.
However, the updated info is always available in the Directories
published every year by the Council in the UK.

As for today, the JK is held in Märsta, near the Stockholm Arlanda
Airport. It takes c:a 45 minutes by train from Stockhom
Central Station to Märsta (travelling by commuter train
- the trains are called "Pendeltåg" pronounced "pendle-tog").

After a spell of no official JK, since it was closed sometime after the
1994 Durbar in London, while the above two named were still in
office - there has always been (mildly speaking) chaotic
situation for Ismailis visiting Stockholm with regard to
proper contacts.
In late 90s and the beginning of 2000, some families
(mainly Afghani/Syrian) started meeting at another
family's home.
Alas, still no official JK for a long time. Turbulent times
and intrigues prevailed.

In 2006 an official JK was established AGAIN, and the
JK services were held every Saturday evening in a rented
hall in a school in Märsta. That being no longer available
today, a hall nearby is now instead rented on hourly
basis, every Saturday.

There has been a considerable increase in the number of Jamati
members, mainly Afghanis, but we have Ismailis from East Africa
India, Pakistan, Syria, Iran etc. living in Stockholm, Sweden.

It is a joy to attend the JK on (specially) important occassions
when there is attendance by members of jamat from different
ethnic groups and all ages, including students and interns
or visiting employees of companies such as Ericsson etc.

Stockholm comes under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom
Council and The UK Tariqa Board. I am sure that more info
can be gathered from your own Council representatives too.

It may all change in December 2009, so if anyone wants any
info about Stockholm after that, you might as well get in touch
with the offices of the national Council UK, or the Council
offices in your area who may give you the right information.
On the other hand, I am sure that Hayat (as he is called) will
be only too pleased to oblige.
Please take into consideration that he works full time.

A dircetory is published and sent to every registered member
(family) of the Jamat in Europe by the National Council
in which all important information, including the locations of
the Jamat Khanas and the names of the Officials (that year),
is included.

It is quite frustrating to see that even now the correct information
is not available to the members of the Jamats Worldwide, which
should be one of the easiest things in this day of widespread
Information Technology Era.

It is always a great a pleasure to meet/see Ismaili brothers/sisters
who visit Stockholm.

May Mowla Bless You All. Amen.

Best Wishes,

Address Change

STOCKHOLM JamatKhana - VENUE
