October 18, 1924 - A letter was sent to 'The Times' London, on behalf of the British Red Crescent Society by Lord Lamington, Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III and Sayyid Ameer Ali appealing for aid - both medical and financial for the suffering among the people of the Riff in Morocco. ([1] 782)
