aash bharpur lee-annaa, shaah bharpur lee-annaa
ameeras meetthaddaa so mevaa......................................1

O my entire hope and reliance; The Lord, the Protector and the Provider 
and the ocean (of mercy) [are present in Jamaatkhaanaa].
All the hopes and wishes are available (fulfilled) abundantly, 
(the mercies and graces of) the Imaam are available abundantly. 
'Ameeras' (the holy water- ab-e-safaa OR water of life- the geenaans), 
is very sweet and is indeed the reward (of attending Jamaatkhaanaa).


more aashajee meetthadde so meve
maaraa muneevar raataa, maaraa mumanbhaai raataa
veemras ladhaddaa so chevaa.......................................2

O my entire hope and reliance; Sweet are indeed the rewards. 
My fellow momins (believers) are red and charming, my fellow 
momins (believers) are red and charming (with joy) as they have found  
sweet advices and fruitful reflection (upon hearing the geenaans and 
farmaans) which are indeed favoured (by them).

ab kaddee-aa so tthannake, ab kaddee-aa so tthannake
maaraa muneevar sa(n)gat hu-aa....................................3

ta(n)g - tense, hard pressed      
halake - getting shouted
ab - hence  
kaddee-aa - stanza    
tthannake - tinkling
sa(n)gat - company, harmony

O my entire hope and reliance; (the bodies) become tense and concentrated 
upon hearing the sounds (of the 'geenaans'). Hence the stanzas are percieved 
to be tinkling (melodiously). (When this happens), my believers 
have joined the company (of the Beloved).

shaah tu(n) paa(n)u dhar beddee-aa, shaah tu(n) paa(n)u dhar beddee-aa
saamee aasannethee chadd khaddaa hu-aa............................4

dhar - house, root, earth, offer   
dhast - hand; neck
hane - now     
beddee-aa - stirrup; chained, fettered    
chadd - manifest, appear
aasanne - physical posture,seat,throne  
khaddaa - big stone; grass; standing

O my entire hope and reliance; Now is the time for You to offer me Your hand. 
I offer to be chained at Your feet O Imaam-e-zamaan. 
The Imaam has appeared standing from His throne (seat,posture).

shaah khaddere umaayo, shaah khaddere umaayo
ram jam pere sajuvaa..............................................5

naache - dance             
khaddere - standing
umaayo - rushed cheerfully ; beg for  ram jam - 
sajuvaa - equipped, laden, dressed

O my entire hope and reliance; Hazarat Aly's horse is dancing
(in preparation for the mission). O Imaam I stand before you begging
(for protection and assistance) OR the Imaam is standing on the horse 
ready to rush cheerfully (to assist the murid). He wears the regimental uniform.

e husenee chaddashe, e husenee chaddashe
maaraa nurshaah paragatt bhale huaa...............................6

O my entire hope and reliance; Seventy hundred, hundreds (70 x 100 x 100 = 700,000) 
of Huseinis (followers of Imaam Husein who sacrificed their lives in the battle of Karbala) 
will arise. My Lord Nurshaah (light of the Imaam) will be manifest in an acceptable manner.

shaah nav daannav chhedee-aa, nav daannav chhedee-aa
daannaavaa ne deshe shaah luhaa...................................7

O my entire hope and reliance; In the nine manifestations, the Lord slayed the nine demons. 
He will give the demons the swords of iron.


more aashajee aj kal vaare
shaah kaalee(n)gaa ne maare, shaah kaalee(n)go sa(n)haare
sab dhartee jeet khaddaa hu-aa....................................8

O my entire hope and reliance; In the present age the Lord (Imaam) will 
punish the demon, the Imaam will slay the demon. The entire earth is 
existing and upright (due to the protection of Aly).


more aashajee veeshav ku(n)vaaree
sacho saamee raajo paranne, sacho saamee raajo paranne
ja(m)pudeepe kaaj rachevaa........................................9

O my entire hope and reliance; The virgin universe will be wed by 
the True Kingly Lord (the Imaam). He has planned His actions in the 
Indian Sub Continent (metaphor for the eternal abode, the soul).


more aashajee e geenaan mahaaras
peer bhannaave sadardeen, peer bhannaave sadardeen
saamee aasannethee chad khaddaa huaa, more aashaajee.............10

O my entire hope and reliance; This 'geenaan' which is full of lofty nector 
(Divine knowledge and wisdom), is taught by Peer Sadardeen. 
The Lord has arisen or is manifest from the throne and is standing (to assist you).
