News Timeline
Usage instructions are at the bottom of the page
USAGE:
Use your mouse to drag the top part of the timeline to surf by month, or the bottom part of the timeline to surf by year.
Click on any event title to see a summary.
To use the 'filter' box under the timeline, just type a word in the box, and the timeline will only show items containing that word. ex: try typing "speech" in the filter box
To use the 'Highlight' boxes under the timeline, just type a word in the box above a color, and all the news events containing that word will get highlighted with that color. Ex: try typing "Award" above the red colour.
ADVANCED USAGE:
You may change the date range of the timeline by changing the url of this page.
Enter any year range in the form:
http://ismaili.net/heritage/News-Timeline/YYYY--YYYY
or enter any date range in the form:
http://ismaili.net/heritage/News-Timeline/YYYY-MM-DD--YYYY-MM-DD
Note that the longer the date range, the slower your response time will be.
