ISLAMABAD (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- The European Union (EU) has just approved a grant amounting to 9.85 million euro (about 8.72 U.S.dollars) for education in Pakistan under the implementation of the Institute for Educational Development of the Aga Khan University, a press release by the EU said here Thursday. This grant, which equivalents 532 million Pakistani Rupees, is addressed in particular to the improvement of the quality of the education. The access to better education will increase the educational levels and thus improve possibilities for better job opportunities, said the press release.
