Nation Printers and Publishers, issued a press release announcing that the leading media establishment in East and Central Africa, will be inaugurating its new state-of-the-art printing plant on Wednesday - The inauguration will be presided over by His Excellency President Daniel Arap Moi in the presence of H.H. The Aga Khan who, in his personal capacity, is the principal shareholder of the Nation Group.

The head of the Ismailia Muslim community in the world, His Highness The Aga Khan, arrives in Uganda today at the start of his eight-day visit to East Africa. He last visited Uganda in 1992.

While in East Africa, the Aga Khan, Imam (spiritual leader) who will be accompanied by his brother, Prince Amyn Aga Khan, is expected to announce or launch major national and regional development initiatives undertaken by The Aga Khan Development Network in the areas of social, economic development and culture.

His Highness The Aga Khan arrived in Uganda today at the start of an eight-day visit to East Africa. The Aga Khan, accompanied by his younger brother, Prince Amyn Aga Khan, were received at the Entebbe International Airport by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of International Co-operation, Dr. Martin Aliker, and the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Stephen Nabeta.

Hundreds of Ismaili community members thronged the airport to welcome The Aga Khan.
