Only those who started the lawsuit can stop it. The lawsuit against Alnaz and Nagib was supported by 2 affidavits, one signed by Sachedina and the other signed by Bhaloo.

Bhaloo said under oath that Hazar Imam did not ask him to sue Nagib and Alnaz but Sachedina told him to sign an affidavit against them. Sachedina confirmed that Hazar Imam did not ask him to file the affidavit that he signed to sue in the name of the Imam.

Only the Plaintiffs Bhaloo and Sachedina can end the case as they are the Plaintiffs. By delaying the outcome for 5 years and more, they have proved beyond doubt that the case was not filed by the Imam and this is why nowadays they do not get any respect in the Jamat.
