Kalam e Imam

Legal action must be a last resort, and after the local leadership having tried, reasoned, arbitrated with the known publishers and failed. Then the regional leadership then the national leaders, and then the LIF should have tried and failed. By then the real reasons would be known and MHI would have the correct reasons. Only then a decision to issue legal proceedings would have been taken instead of going through the Ismaili Arbitration process which should have been followed. Were these steps followed? What is also surprising is that this book is only for and sold to Ismailis. This is clearly stated. This website has for many years been publisihing news articles and other materials and resources which are much needed, used by, and well known to most Islmailies. This has been allowed by the leadership and MHI. The lawsuit is only for this book so far. This will present legal issues of consent etc. There are other websites and Ismailies who are producing materials and selling books on websites. The farmans it seems from the lawsuit so far are authentic and if so are to be proud of even if any non islmaili gets hold of them. Die hards can always get them if they really want them.Is the real reason to establish a precedent and stop all non authorised publications in websites and or books ?. What also does not make sense is since the farmans are going to be realsed and if these are authentic why not arbitrate and sell them under the official institutional umbrella. There remains a burning desire for conveying timely information and knowledge inand within the ismaili community.by the ledership.
