I'm new in Quebec city, and i'm studyng in universite Laval, and The Khane is a bit far from the uni, so just wanted to know if there was a Khane in the uni? Or if not, some Ismaili students??

Quebec City Jamat Khana
I receintlyvisited , Aug.15,2009, Quebec City and I wnr to Jamat Khana at the 795 Rue des Roccailes, Quebec Cityy, Quebec. I reached there at about 10 to 7:00 pm. There waere no vehicles in the parking lot except one that was parked at the end on the building. I pulled the door and it was locked. I looked into the glass door and there on the wall I saw 'Welcome' in different languages including Swahili and Gujarati. It looked like a run down place and I thought that thye JK had been moved and the Ismaili.net was not updated with new address. So I went back home.
Is ther a way for Ismaili visitors to find out via web site and/or phone book where Jamat Khana is located in each city in any country around te world? with confirmed addresses and Dua Times? and if moved the addresses is kept uptodate?

Quebec City Jamat Khana
I recently drove out east and stayed one night in Quebec City. I had referred to this site for the location of Jamat Khana and was a bit skeptical once I had read the other comment here about no one being at khane. There is a khane at this location. The place is unmarked, but it is Jamat Khane. We talked to the Mukhi Saheb and he said typically dua is between 7 and 730, he usually picks up people for khane so if he is late it is usually closer to 730.

Qc City JK is Awesome!
Quebec city JK is one of the most welcoming Jamatkhanas, especially on Fridays when the Jamat gets together and lingers afterwards and warmly welcomes all visitors.
Admittedly, Dua time of 7 is treated as just a suggestion. Call Mukhisaheb to find out Dua time for the time of your stay..
