February 10, 1912 - Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III made a statement on The Annulment of The Partition of Bengal called, 'The Repeal of the Partition of Bengal.' Source: 'Comrade' However, the date on which the Aga Khan issued this statement is not confirmed. The origin of this statement has not yet been discovered -- was it issued to the press from where 'Comrade' picked it up and reprinted, or was it sent especially to Mohammed Ali's journal? The statement described the changes that would affect Islam's destiny in India and the hope that Muslims would not be at a loss due to these changes. ([1] 386)
