O Lord, in Your garden, the Guide, the Creator (Prophetic Light),
is the Waterer (Gardner). He has planted and watered in the nine continents
(or heavens). The Lord waters (showers His mercy) in a limitless manner.

ejee ek sarovar see(n)chyaa ropyaa ek hariyaa dujaa sukaa

From one lake (the Guide) watered two plants, one of which became fresh
and green but the other dried and withered away. (In the same manner),
the ones without the Guide did not attain the Path, brothers,
without the Truth they are dry.

ejee jo jadd kaapo paap nee re bhaai to jeev hariyaa hoy

If you cut off the roots of sin, brothers, the (plant of your) soul will
be evergreen and fresh(with love). By chopping of your head(ego),
if you give a seat to the Guide in your heart, the Guide and the Master will
then become your friend (helper).

ejee gurnar belee tenee vaatt sohelee shabd pati annaa(n) jeh

The one whose helper is the Guide and the Master,
this person's path is smooth and prosperous and he/she
accepts the Word (command) with conviction. The actions by
which the soul gets freed, perform such actions with love.

ejee daas dosh nameekhamee chaalo leeyo kshamaiyaa belee

O servant (of the Lord), in the midst of errors and shortcomings
(OR when confronting errors and shortcomings) of a servant of the Lord,
walk with humility and patience and take up forgiveness as your friend
and companion. If one walks along thus, with such a single and
unwavering mind, will have an easy and prosperous path.

O believers, come and meet together in a (religious) gathering,
O brothers do it for the sake of your souls. Purchase the four
virtues which are like gems i.e., patience, truth, faith and remembrance
of the Lord; and keep them uppermost in your head (mind). Brothers shun
the five evils i.e., lust, anger, greed, attraction for the world and pride.

ejee apnaa baanaa dur chukaavo gurkaa geenaan kamaavo
nar peer saade peer shamsh boleeyaa

saachaa svaamee ne aaraadho..................................7

Remove all your doubts and earn the True and Divine knowledge of the Guide.
Through the blessings of the Master(Imaam), Peer Shamsh has spoken
(these words). Adore the True Lord(Imaam of the time).
