The Lord's letters have arrived in India, brothers. What fragrance they have diffused, o brother!

aaj maare hayadde harakh na maa(n)y..........................2

Peer Indr Imaamuddin has read the letters of the Lord. Today my heart overflows with joy.

ejee paa(n)khaddeeyaa(n) jo hove to shaahaa ne jaaee meelu(n);

su(n) karu(n) maaro pee(n)ddaddo na haath....................3

If I had wings, I would go to meet my Lord. What can I do? My body is not under my control.

ejee ka(n)dhodhar hove to ka(n)dh uddave;

evaa joi joi karu(n) chu(n) veechaar.........................4

If my shoulders were winged, my shoulders would fly. Such are my thoughts as I look around.

ejee phuladdaa(n) veennaavo veeraa sateeu(n) tannaa;

jene nathee vaayaa kalajug naa vaay..........................5

Gather flowers, o brother, from those faithful ones who are untouched by the winds of the Kaliyuga.

The travellers and courtiers are together seeking out His court, proceeding in accordance with the command of the Lord.

ejee ratanaagar gaaje atee ddaraamannaa;

teeyaa(n) kaayareeyaa kaa(n)ee chhaa(n)dde re paraann........7

The ocean roars most terrifyingly. There many cowards give up the ghost.

ejee vaagh ne see(n)addaa raaheeu(n) naa voraamannaa;

te chhe apannaa shaahaa ne peechhaann........................8

Tigers and lions bid the travellers be on their way, for they have recognised their Lord.

ejee u(n)chaa u(n)chaa ddu(n)gar deese re ddaraamannaa;

teeaa(n) vaae ttaaddhaa hemaa jal naa vaae...................9

The lofty mountains all around seem fearful. There cold and icy winds blow.

ejee raahee ne daragaahee meelee darage pohotaa;

jaaee potaa kahek nagaree maa(n)he..........................10

The pilgrims and courtiers together reached His court. They went and arrived at the town of Kahak.

ejee kahek nagaree deese atee ralleeaamannee;

teeyaa(n) betthaa apannaa tribhovar shaam...................11

The town of Kahak seems very lovely. Seated there is our Lord of the three worlds.

ejee thaall bharaavo veeraa sa(n)g motee-e;

vadhaavo apannaa treebhovar shaam...........................12

Fill the dishes, o brother, with pearls. Shower offerings upon the Lord of the three worlds.

ejee peer ee(n)dr eemaam deen aashaa mukhe boleeyaa veenatee;

saamee gat naa gunaa bakas karo jee.........................13

Peer Indr Imaamuddin, with hope on his lips, has entreatingly said: 'Master, forgive the sins of your community!'
