2005, January 25: Washington, DC?The National Building Museum?s fifth Vincent Scully Prize has been presented to His Highness The Aga Khan. A Cocktail reception was held at 7:00 p.m. Dinner was followed by tributes to His Highness The Aga Khan from Charles Correa and by James Wolfensohn. Upon receiving the Vincent Scully Prize, H.H. The Aga Khan made a short speech of acceptance. A roundtable was held at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Washington [Maryland/12th str] with some journalists.

2005, January 26 - 5:00-7:30 pm: The VIP Reception at 5:00 p.m. preceeded the Conference The Aga Khan arrived at the reception around 17:50 . Design in the Islamic World and Its Impact Beyond: In this program exploring the contributions of His Highness and celebrating his receipt of the Museum?s 2005 Vincent Scully Prize, the acclaimed architect Charles Correa from Bombay, India discussed how design should involve pluralism and what we all can learn from design in the Islamic world.
