Consultative Council on development of tourism in Issykkul region will be set up. This was disclosed during the workshop in Costa Smeralda, organized by Aga Khan Foundation. The main duty of the Consultative Council will be to draw up a common strategy of development. According to the press service of the State Committee on Tourism, Sport and Youth Policy, the Council will include representatives of Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED) and the government of Kyrgyzstan. The working body of the Council will be the Secretariat, which will be headed by Coordinator of the AKFED Programme in Central Asia Bermet Akaeva.
