Dhaka, Jan 11 (UNB) – The prestigious Aga Khan Gold Cup Golf Tournament-2019 got off to a fine start amidst a lot of fanfare at the Kurmitola Golf Course on Friday morning.

Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat officially inaugurated the ceremony as chief guest by teeing off in the morning at 7am.

The ceremony was attended by, among others, Kurmitola Golf Club Vice President Major General Md Enayet Ullah, Club Captain Brigadier General Md Sayeed Siddiki, tournament committee Chairman brigadier general Abidur Reza Khan (retd), Sulaiman Ajanee, President of His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for Bangladesh, other members of the Aga Khan community in Bangladesh and high officials of the club.

The gold meet will come to an end on January 12 in a mega prize distribution ceremony in the evening at the Banquet Hall of Kurmitola Golf Club.
