Eji Shaam ku aavantaa jo kahe
taa kun laakh vadhaai;
paanch sakhi kero vahaalmo,
kene miliyo re bhaai.
varaanni:
Shaam kun ddhunddhante dekhte
ketaa jug gayaa viraa ketaa bhav bhayaa 1

Eji Saami ke gale men haar hay,
hiraa maannek jaddiyaa;
jis re bhaave taa kun det hay,
saaheb hay dil dariyaa Shaam kun 2

Eji Saami maaro chatur sujaann hay,
aape sreshtth divan;
jis ke bharose sthir rahyaa,
rahyaa jamin aasmaan. Shaam kun 3

Eji Jaan thaki hi jug jit hay,
ham hun baandi re taaki;
vachane vachane paaun bharu,
chandaa suraj saakhi Shaam kun 4

Eji Pir Sadardin boliyaa,
koi man aapnnu samjaave;
kapaddaa dhove so kyaa huvaa,
dil dhove so paave Shaam kun 5

Those who inform about the gracious arrival of the Lord (Imaam),
are entitled to hundreds of thousands of felicitations. O brothers!
(show me) who has recognised the one(Imaam) who is as dear as
the five dearest ones("Panjtan Pak"). Seeking and looking for

The Lord has a necklace of pearls and jewels, He bestows these jewels to those whom He likes.
He is very generous.

And it is due to Him

O Lord! I'll remain your slave till eternity
