Eji Sat-naa sarovar saraasar bhariyaa
evaa ami jal bhariyaa so aachhaa
jire enne sarovariye, ho sat ne sarovari ye
hetaa ras paar viraa bhaai baandho ji 1

Eji Hansaa jinaa raajaa jyaare jilavaane betthaa
tyaare bagalaa taddo tadd naatthaa... re enne 2

Eji Dharamni laher kaain jaramar varse
evaa amijal varse so aachhaa jire enne 3

Eji Saar piyo-ne tame vikhe ras ddhoro
evaa amijal adkaa piyaasaa jire enne 4

Eji Chaar paalli-ne tame paanch-j vaaro
evi aachhi aachhi karnni kamaavo... jire enne 5

Eji Kaam karodh jenaa ghatt maanhe jaaher jaagyaa
tenne jityaa jityaa daav sarve haaryaa... jire enne 6

Eji Bhanne Pir Sadardin saambhallo gatiyun momano
to tame baar karodd maanhe jilsho... jire enne 7

ejee satnaa sarovar saraasar bhariyaa
evaa ameejal bhariyaa so aachhaa
jeere enne sarovariye, ho satne sarovariye
hetaaras paar veeraabhaai baa(n)dhojee.......................1

The lake of truth is brimful, in the same manner the water of life(i.e geenaans or the Abe-e-safaa), is also abundant and pure. O dear ones! maintain(or be in) the lake of this water. Maintain(or be in) this lake of truth and construct the bank of love, o dear brothers!

O believers! (Jamat Khana is like a) divine lake in which (the bowls of abbe safa) are superabundantly full (and thus, this) brimful sacred water is very consecrartory. So have belief in it as if adoring the Truth. O brothers! Fortify your love all around (this belief)....1

(When a swan comes to take a bath in the lake, all storks standing on one leg start flying away flutteringly, and similarly) when the king of the souls i.e. the Lord (spiritually manifests in our hearts) for ablution, the all stork-like evils flee away rapidly....2

Waves of religion flow like a drizzle

Such heavenly nectar rains. ...3

O believers! Drink essence and drain off poison

Have further thirst of water, consecratory. ...4

O believers! Desist of five vices, observe four virtues
