THE CAVALCADE of cars came into drive way, under the bowing palm trees, past the blaze of rich petunias and salvias, to the huge complex at Parklands. It brought Mowlana Hazar Imam and Begum Salimah who were to grace a grand Darbar. For a moment one's mind went back to weeks prior to this revered moment.

H.H.The Aga Khan arrived in Mombasa on 22nd July for AKDN work, meetings with government officials in the East Africa region.

He landed in Nairobi on 25th and will be visiting the AKUH the next day leaving on 28th for Dar es Salaam and then heading to Zanzibar for the opening of the Forodhani Park on 30th.

Princess Zahra is presently in Nairobi since 20th July for AKU Board of Trustees meetings.

H.H. The Aga Khan is in Edmonton, Canada for a 3 day visit, accompanied by His son, Prince Hussain. During his visit, the Aga Khan met with Premier Ed Stelmach and University of Alberta President, Dr. Indira Samarasekera. He also witnessed the signing of an agreement to enhance collaboration with the University of Alberta.

Prince rahim is in Khorog Today. People were very excited and despite the rain people were running up and down the city.

Prince Aga Khan visited Portugal for a meeting with the Foreign Minister Luis Amado and the Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon, D. José Policarpo. On this occasion an agreement was signed on religion, education and culture, followed by a working lunch. In the afternoon, Prince Aga Khan was honored at the Academy of Sciences.

His Highness the Aga Khan is in Berlin for a two-day official visit to hold talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel, Vice-Chancellor and Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and Development Minister Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul.

The Aga Khan, the spiritual leader of Ismaili Muslims, arrived in Nairobi for the first leg of a 12-day official visit to East Africa.

The plane carrying the Aga Khan landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 5 pm to a red carpet reception by the Government.

His Highness the Aga Khan, Imam of the Shia Ismaili community, visited Singapore from 1 to 3 December 2008. His Highness called on President S R Nathan and was hosted to lunch by Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo also met with His Highness.

H. H. the Aga Khan Visited Portugal at the Invitation of the Government as part of his Golden Jubilee year. He met with many officials and with the ismaili community.

H. H. The Aga Khan Visited Canada From November 18th to the 25th. During His visit, He met with the ismaili community and met with officials in Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

DUSHANBE, October 31, 2008, Asia-Plus -- His Highness the Aga Khan, Imam (spiritual leader) of the Shia Ismaili Muslims, and founder and Chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), is arriving in Dushanbe today afternoon on a six-day official visit.

Prince Karim Aga Khan is on a 6-day Golden Jubilee visit to Syria during which He will meet officials, meet his followers, and take part in celebrations marking the end of AKDN-sponsored restoration works at three historical castles: Aleppo, Saladdin and Missiaf.

H. H. the Aga Khan is on an official Golden Jubilee visit to London, and will meet with followers at a Darbar confirmed for 5th July 2008
