The glory of Qutub Shahi tombs being restored by AKTC 2021-03-15
Posted March 15th, 2021 by librarian-hdHyderabad: A visitor to the historic Qutub Shahi Tombs will be mesmerized by its architectural beauty. The colourful enameled tiles were used in decorating the tombs.
Quli Qutub Shah bears intricate carvings. The enameled tiling of the tomb made it unique from the other tombs.
The Aga Khan Trust for culture CEO Ratish Nanda said, “Qutub Shahi Tombs are fine examples of Indo-Iranian architecture.”

A multi-disciplinary team of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC), in partnership with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and support of a corporate conglomerate, worked extensively on the project which married traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.

US Ambassador unveils refurbished Qutub Shahi Tombs in Hyderabad 2020-03-10

The US Consulate General Hyderabad financially patronized the Aga Khan Foundation for the conservation and preservation of two tombs under the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation.

Double delight for Aga Khan Academy 2020-01-19
Posted January 19th, 2020 by librarian-hdHyderabad: Aga Khan Academy bagged a double by winning under-15 girls and under-18 boys titles in the 3rd edition of the School Football League at the Sreenidhi International School on Sunday.
A total of 60 teams participated in the tournament that was played on league basis. Close to 1200 boys and girls competed in the league. ISL team Hyderabad Football Club players Marcelinho, Kamaljit Singh, Adil Khan, Bobo, Matt Kilgallon and Marko Stankovic gave away the trophies to winners.
