During high-level discussions on development issues with the president, Hazar Imam reiterated the commitment of the Ismaili Imamat and the Aga Khan Development Network to Afghanistan, and expressed appreciation to the Government of Afghanistan for their continued support of and partnership.
Mawlana Hazar Imam was accompanied by Princess Zahra.

Afghan President meets Ismailis Leader 2013-12-21

According to the presidential website, Karzai has thanked Aga Khan for the development projects he has funded in the last 12 years in Rehabilitation of historical places, Health and Education sectors.
The Aga Khan Development Network is one of the largest donor organizations operating in 30 countries, employing over 80,000 people.

Aga Khan, the chairman of Aga Khan Development network, arrived here today on a 12-day India visit during which he will meet President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Vice President Hamid Ansari.
Khan would preside over an inauguration ceremony to mark the completion of the restoration of Humayun's Tomb Heritage site tomorrow.
The restoration work at the heritage site has been carried out by the Aga Khan Trust.

The Aga Khan Development Network yesterday signed a protocol with the government to operate its organs in Bangladesh as Prince Karim Aga Khan IV arrived in Dhaka on a two-day tour.
The protocol was signed after a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office.

Foreign minister Dipu Moni received him at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on his arrival by private a jet to a red carpet reception.
From there, he will go to the National Memorial in Savar to pay respects to the Liberation War heroes, a foreign ministry official says.
The Aga Khan is also the founder and Chairperson of the Aga Khan Development Network, one of the largest private development groups in the world.
