Mr. Campbell is a former premier of British Columbia and Canada’s current High Commissioner in London.
Campbell was recently appointed by the Government of Canada as the country’s representative to the Ismaili Imamat and also serves as Canada’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.

His Highness the Aga Khan, spiritual leader of the Shia Ismaili Muslims yesterday committed himself to support democratic processes, to find means to help the ultra-poor, and to address political and theological tensions through consensus amongst all Muslims.
The Aga Khan was speaking at a ceremony that marked the 50th anniversary of his accession to the Ismaili Imamat. He succeeded his grandfather, Sir Sultan Mahomed Shah Aga Khan as the 49th hereditary Imam on 11th July 1957. The colourful ceremony was attended by over 250 leaders from the Ismaili community from some 25 countries.

2008, January 30 - Gouvieux, France - H.H. the Aga Khan, today met with Mr. Haruhiko Kuroda, President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), for discussions on joint collaboration between the ADB and AKDN. The meeting preceded the signing of an agreement aimed at expanding the partnership between the two institutions. Prince Amyn Aga Khan, who signed the agreement on the Aga Khan's behalf, thanked the ADB for its long-standing cooperation and lauded the Bank's efforts to adopt a new long-term strategy this year in the face of growing challenges and opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.

2006, September 16: Aiglemont, France: Prince Hussain Aga Khan Marries Miss Kristin J. White (Princess Khaliya)- A religious marriage ceremony was held at Chateau Chantilly. Members of the Leaders International Forum represented the Jamat at the wedding ceremony. On the day before, a civil marriage ceremony took place at Aiglemont, the Aga Khan's family home in France. The marriage was officiated by the Mayor of Gouvieux, Mr. Patrice Marchand.
