His Highness the Aga Khan greeting leaders of the Ismaili Community and the AKDN in Syria, upon his arrival at Damascus Airport.

2008, August 24th to 29th: H.H. The Aga Khan arrives in Syria, August 2008, and is received at Damascus International Airport by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdullah al-Dardari, Minister of Tourism Dr. Saadullah Agha al-Qala'a and Resident Representative of AKDN in Syria Mohammad Mufdi Seifo. Dozens and dozens of buses are arriving in Salamieh from Iran to participate in the celebrations of Golden Jubilee.
