Aga Khan Trust for Culture to rebuild 4 historic sites in Kabul

The AKTC officials informed regarding the plans during a meeting with the Minister of Urban Development and Housing Syed Sadat Mansoor Naderi.

Princess Zahra attends Bamyan hospital inaugurated with Canada, France and AKDN support 2017-04-24

According to the local government officials, the hospital has been built and equipped with a total cost of $22.8 million. It is a 141-bed state-of-the-art hospital will transform the lives of 450,000 Afghans – many of them are women and children

Posted November 17th, 2009 by librarian-apThe leader of the world's Ismaili community, the Aga Khan, has been welcomed by thousands of his followers at the start of a visit to the Pamir mountains of eastern Tajikistan.
On his arrival at the region's only airport, the Aga Khan was given the traditional welcome -- he was offered salt and bread.
Later in the region's capital, Khorog, schoolchildren waved flowers and chanted songs in his honour.
The Ismaili community like other groups in Tajikistan has been severely affected by the civil war which followed independence.
