Aga Khan due today in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, Oct 13: Spiritual leader of Ismailis, Price Karim Aga Khan, will arrive here on Saturday on the first leg of his Pakistan visit.

In Islamabad, the Aga Khan will meet President Rafiq Tarar, Chief Executive Gen Pervez Musharraf and senior government officials. On 16th and 17th, he will attend the conference on indigenous philanthropy, says a Press release.

During his visit, the Aga Khan will review the progress of programmes being undertaken by the Aga Khan Development Network, and will inaugurate various projects, including new facilities at the Aga Khan University in Karachi where he will preside over the convocation on 21st. He will also meet members of the Ismaili community.
