Aga Khan coming to Pakistan on Saturday

ISLAMABAD (October 14) : Prince Karim Aga Khan, spiritual leader of the Ismaili community, will arrive here on Saturday on a two-week visit to Pakistan, official sources said. The distinguished guest will be received by Interior Minister Lieutenant General Moinuddin Haider (Retd) along with the Ismaili community members at the airport here.

Prince Karim soon after arrival would leave for Aiwan-e-Sadr and call on President Rafiq Tarar.

He is also scheduled to meet Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf.

Prince Karim will also attend a dinner to be hosted by the chief executive in his honour.

He will also participate in the two-day 'Philanthropy Conference' from October 16 to 17 at the Marriott Hotel, here.

He will meet his followers (Jamaat) here on October l5 and will also visit the under-construction Serena Hotel site.

Prince Karim Aga Khan will also meet Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar, Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz, Interior Minister Moinuddin Haider, Tourism Minister S. K. Tressler and Kashmir Affairs and Northern Areas Minister Abbas Sarfaraz Khan.

On October 18, Prince Karim will leave for Northern Areas on a two-day visit. He will inaugurate at Gilgit the "Professional Development Center of AKES/AKU on the same day.

He will also meet the Jamaat of Hunza and Gakuch on October 18. Abbas Sarfaraz Khan will host a dinner in his honour on the same day.-APP
