Aga Khan Ends Visit

The leader of the Ismaili Muslims, the Aga Khan, on Monday left for Kenya after concluding his visit to Uganda.

A statement issued yesterday by the Aga Khan Development Network in Uganda said the Aga Khan held discussions with President Yoweri Museveni and other senior government officials on the progress of activities undertaken by the Development Network in Uganda since his last visit here in 1997.

The Aga Khan visited the Advanced Nursing Programme of the Aga Khan University, which enrolled its first students in January 2001.
