Aga Khan ends visit

smalia Community leader, His Highness the Aga Khan, yesterday concluded his four day visit to Kenya which involved a series of meetings with President Moi and other top Government officials.

The tour was part of his familiarisation visit to the country after last touring the country in 1997. President Moi and the Aga Khan held discussions touching on bilateral issues.

The Aga Khan through his foundation lends key support to several projects in Kenya with the education and health sectors being key beneficiaries.

The Foundation runs 15 major schools, while the Aga Khan Health Services operates three major hospitals in Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa.
