Museveni, Aga Khan In Talks

CHATTING: The Aga Khan and President Museveni meeting in Entebbe yesterday

PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni yesterday held talks with His Highness, the Aga Khan, who paid a courtesy call on him at the Imperial Botanical Beach Hotel in Entebbe.

The Aga Khan, 65, head of the Islamia Muslim Community, is on a working visit to Uganda as part of his tour of projects in East Africa run by the Aga Khan Foundation.

The meeting was also attended, among others, by the Minster of State for International Affairs, Tom Butime, a statement from the State House said.

The Aga Khan runs various projects in over 25 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and North America where he has millions of followers. Projects in Uganda include education and health.
