The Spiritual leader of the Ismaili Muslim Community, His Highness the Aga Khan, arrived in Uganda yesterday.
The Aga Khan was received at Entebbe International Airport by the Minister of State for Investment Sam Kutesa and of Regional Co-operation Kahinda Otafiire.
The Monitor Board Chairman Dr Martin Aliker and officials of the Aga Khan Foundation were also at the airport.
The Aga Khan and his entourage boarded a waiting military helicopter for a scheduled meeting with President Yoweri Museveni.
Officials of the Aga Khan Foundation said the meeting was scheduled for yesterday.
They said the meeting was to discuss the Aga Khan's investments in Uganda.
President Museveni's Deputy Press Secretary Onapito Ekomoloit said the meeting took place at the president's Kisozi farm. He gave no details.
