Bishkek, September 3. (KABAR). The meeting of the president of Kyrgyz Republic Askar Akaev with prince Karim Aga Khan IV has taken place in the State residence "Ala - Archa". A. Akaev has warmly greeted the honored guest and has assured that Kyrgyzstan attaches rather great value to close cooperation with the Aga Khan Organization on development. During the meeting questions of the further development of cooperation of Kyrgyzstan with the Organization have been discussed. A. Akaev has expressed gratitude for the help of Aga Khan Fund in development of the master-plan " Sustainable development of tourism in Issyk-Kul ", and also has emphasized, that realization of the given project is the worthy and practical contribution to development of tourism not only in Issyk-Kul oblast, but also Kyrgyzstan as a whole. The head of the state has expressed interest in realization of joint projects in such spheres, as agriculture, public health services, power, formation, tourism.
President KR has noted that the help of Fund in opening of Kyrgyz investment credit bank in August 2001 was rather opportune. The sides have discussed also an opportunity of participation of the Aga Khan Organization on development in realization of the vital programs for Kyrgyzstan on sustainable development - the Comprehensive development framework till 2010 and National strategy of poverty reduction.
