2009, July 26: Nairobi - Kenya. H.H. The Aga Khan and Princess Zahra visited the AKUH this afternoon as part of a working visit in the region for AKDN projects. Several hundreds people were standing for hours on 3rd Parklands to welcome him. To their surprise, His Highness, accompanied with Princess Zahra, Ambassador Dehlavi of the Board of Trustee, Dr. Firoz Rasul, Asmita Gilani and other high level AKU staff walked on 3rd Parklands street. The Imam waved continuously at the Jamat up to the time he reached the gate. [More Heritage Photo]

MoU signed for medical facilities to Sindh Police employees

The Sindh Police and Aga Khan Hospital and Medical College Foundation on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under which the hospital would be providing medical facilities to all the employees of Sindh Police.

The MoU was signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon and Interim CEO of Aga Khan Hospital, in a simple ceremony held at Central Police Office (CPO) Karachi.
