Prince Sadrudin, Princess Aleya and their friends were recently in Mombasa for their annual holidays and spent a fortnight at their Bahati Villa on the South Coast.
Prince Sadrudin travelled by road from Nairobi to Mombasa after having just arrived by air on Monday 23rd December, 1985. Representatives from the Mombasa Provincial Council welcomed the party at the Likoni Ferry that evening.
Prince Sadrudin was requested to attend a Jamati function in order to meet members of the Jamat, but was unable to accept the invitation. Instead he invited members of all the Councils with their spouses and Mukhi/Kamadiasahebs/Mukhiani/Kamadiani sahebas to an informal Tea Party on Sunday 5th January, 1986. The informal gathering gave the members present an opportunity to meet their Highnesses and their guests personally.
